A year ago this time, i was healing from major surgery,wheeling around my house.Tired from a trip to the kitchen to get a drink and a bite to eat.
was elevating my foot, icing my cast to keep down swelling,and taking supplements to help with bone healing. I was BORED OUT OF MY MIND sitting in that apartment and constantly thinking about my next move halfway across the world.
Today, Im sitting here with the same foot propped up. Ankle is good though i did feel a twinge of something last night that I wouldnt quite call pain though a little irritating. Ive walked more in this last year than I have in years back home.
Had I not done this, I dont think Id be able to look back on this year with such a smile on my face.
